Welcome to Starlight Trampoline Club

Starlight Trampoline Club welcomes both recreational and competitive trampolinists.

We are based at the new sports hall at Hounsdown School in Totton (Click link to see location).

We are affiliated with British Gymnastics - which is the body that looks after trampolinists.

Participation in trampolining can be exciting and great fun, as well as providing a healthy environment for young people to develop a range of important life skills.  To ensure we meet the individual’s goals, the club is divided into four sections:

Jump for Fun
-This is for individual trampolinists who are looking for the social side of a sport without any pressure.  We will provide a safe environment for learning skills in a fun way.

Recreational - Progressions through the British Gymnastics award scheme, including individual moves and routines.  Option to enter locally based competitions including Southampton and British Schools.

Junior squad – 10 years and under. As above plus these individuals will want to train at a higher level with the prospect of competing in the British Gymnastics nationally recognised competitions as soon as reaching the required ability and elements.  As well as training on the trampoline there will also be some floor based body conditioning and plyometrics. Ideally training 4 hours a week spread over a minimum of two days although a minimum of one 2-hour session will be considered.  Members will be expected to train in leotards or similar.

Senior Squad – 10 years and over.  Ideally training 6 hours a week spread over the three days but as a minimum 4 hours spread over 2 days.  Trampolinists will be expected to train in leotards or similar.
